2025 was all about new projects. And with every new project, there are many novel challenges. At times, it’s easy to be weighed down by these challenges, but it’s important to remember to show up, put one foot in front of the other, and walk through the storm. And it is in these moments that the most growth happens. 2025 was theme around resilience and I’m excited to see what’s in store for 2026.

Another full-mouth case we recently finished, or as the patient calls it a “complete remodeling”.

Patient suffered from bruxism and a diminished vertical dimension of occlusion. After taking careful measurements, we established a new bite and temporized to see how he responds. We then proceeded with new restorations for the posteriors teeth, followed by the anterior teeth for a complete smile make-over. We placed a few implants for the missing teeth. The results turned out great and patient is super happy.

For this patient, we decided to keep the patient’s natural lower front teeth since they were healthy and added character to the patient’s smile.

The particular challenge in this case was making the patient’s smile symmetrical because the patient had lost one of his front teeth as a child. More to follow on this in a later post.

Small changes, big impact!

This lovely patient got two minimal prep veneers for her front two teeth to replace old, stained and worn-out composite bondings. She had previously broken her two front teeth as a teenager and wanted to enhance her already beautiful smile.

All dentists know that it is extremely difficult to match just one or two teeth in the anterior region for a natural result and most clinics she visited previously wanted to do at least 6 veneers for her. However, we were able to stay conservative and achieve her goals with just two veneers. Shoutout to our master lab tech for nailing it spot on.

Patient came to the office looking to have a “bright but natural smile”. He previously had 6 crowns (caps) placed on the front teeth but was unhappy with the aesthetics and wanted a fuller, wider smile. He was also unable to close down on his back teeth for the last 10 years since he had got the 6 front caps because the bite was incorrect.

I was able to help this patient by designing 10 restoration to brighten and broaden his smile, while restoring the correct bite. The patient was thrilled with the results, and his reaction was priceless when he was able to close on his back teeth again for the first time in 10 years. It’s these moments that makes what I do so rewarding.
